We’re pleased to announce that Manchester Airport has renewed their contract with AIRDAT for a further three years. In 2017, we implemented Passport, AIRDAT’s Airport Safety System, to assist with the induction of 5,000+ contractors over 12 months. Since then, our partnership has grown in strength and scale, as Passport helped induct 3000+ for the opening of their Terminal 2 extension and manages the training and compliance for Airside Driver Permit (ADP) Training. As Manchester Airport continues its growth and new staff come onboard, AIRDAT will support their training and compliance processes at every level and every step of the way.

Long-term contact and system user, Anthony Maudsley (Asset Support Team Manager at Manchester Airport), had this to say about the continuing partnership,

“AIRDAT has enabled Manchester Airport to safely and effectively manage all high-risk activities. The web-based hosting solution is easy to navigate for everyone wishing to sign up for booking training courses. They manage everything from bookings to revenue collection professionally and effectively. The AIRDAT team is proactive and provides solutions in a timely manner. The team use plain English to give full explanations (with software programmers this is a blessing) on how to implement any new ideas. They will also discuss best practices across the industry which is refreshing and invaluable. Myself and my team have a great working relationship with everyone at AIRDAT. They are always a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend them (and frequently do).”

The following systems are in place at Manchester Airport:

  • Passport – Building on the work we started in 2017 with Contractor Inductions and continued for Manchester Airport’s 29m Terminal 2 extension and ADPs, AIRDAT supplies and support the team at Manchester Airport with our Passport system which allows for all training, booking, testing and compliance management
  • ONBOARD – Our cloud-based airport compliance system (consisting of our Airside Operator Licence System and Fleet – our Airside vehicle permit system) gives Manchester Airport full visibility of the companies operating on their airport and assurance that companies are meeting requirements to work at the airport.
  • VISA– Our intuitive and easy-to-use smartphone app gives users the ability to manage training from anywhere and gives Manchester Airport the ability to audit and manage compliance for training and fleet whilst on the go.

“We’re delighted that Manchester Airport has chosen to extend their partnership with us at AIRDAT. We’ve forged a strong connection with the team over the years and we’re pleased to know that our services have given them control and security over their training and induction processes. We look forward to helping them to work towards their goals over the next three years.”- Jennifer Tumbri, Project and Development Director at AIRDAT

AIRDAT CEO Charles Cardwell added,

“Manchester Airport is the main international gateway for the North of England and we’re proud to extend our already long-running partnership with them. This three-year contract extension re-affirms that our systems and processes are the ideal solution for international airports looking to streamline and simplify their training and permit processes. We couldn’t be happier that the team has chosen to renew their contract with us.”
