In July, courses, applications and permits that AIRDAT provides billing services for (which include LGW, LTN, BRS, MAN and LHR airports) will be billed using Stripe, AIRDAT’s chosen PCI compliant online payment provider.

Stripe is trusted around the globe by organisations such as booking.com, salesforce and xero.

This improved process moves away from the traditional, labour-intensive: Supplier approval/Purchase order/Invoice/Statement/Payment and Remittance approach.

AIRDATs improved payment process speeds up and simplifies billing for everyone. With this advanced integration, payment for transactions made in Passport, Onboard and VISA will be taken at the time of purchase via purchasing, credit or debit card. Payments on account will no longer be accepted.

The great news is, as well as saving companies time & money, there are no additional costs associated with this change.

Once the new billing process is underway, AIRDAT will work with our airport & eLearning partners to outline a roadmap that will reduce onward payment turnaround down to just 30 days.

Communications around this change were first issued out at the start of April 2020 and we remain on track to implement this by July 2020.

There are further enhancements planned for later in the year, such as the ability to store multiple cards on the system for quick repeat payments.
