London Gatwick Airport (LGW) has launched the Landside Operator Licence (LOL) to manage landside vehicle parking permits using AIRDATs Onboard System.
Previously a heavily administrative process, now streamlined using AIRDATs online airport and vehicle applications, eliminating paper applications to the benefit of the environment.

AIRDATs Onboard system expedites the permit process, giving applicants the ability to print approved permits instead of collecting them in person. Saving time, fuel and money for both the applicant and the airport.
With AIRDAT Onboard, LGW has access to real-time landside vehicle permit data to audit information from their office or on the go using AIRDAT’s Smartphone app ‘VISA’ and scanning the unique vehicle permit QR code. The QR code will be scanned and audited at the point of entry, improving the safety and security in their landside areas and increasing visibility and control over landside vehicle permits.
