On Friday we said goodbye to AIRDAT’s longest serving team member.
Dave Perry, AIRDAT’s Compliance Director, decided that it was time to move on and focus his attention (and his wife Kate’s) on a very well deserved retirement. Although Dave will be sorely missed by the team, we are delighted that his future will revolve around him enjoying life to the fullest
The company had only been running a little over 3 years before Dave Perry joined as a subcontractor delivering ‘in person’ ADP training on behalf of Gatwick Airport.
Dave devised and began to deliver a course that raised the standards of driving at the airport above and beyond what was currently in place. It is the framework on which AIRDAT’s ADP courses are still based today.
Having established a fantastic working relationship with Gatwick based on his consistency and the quality of delivery, just a year later, he joined the company full time as its very first employee and went on to become its Compliance Director, delivering Risk Assessments, Audits and distributing expert advice and knowledge to the hundreds of organisations operating in and around the airports we work with.
The positive impact that Dave has had on AIRDAT and on Safety & Compliance as a whole at airports will be felt for years to come and we wish only the best for Dave & Kate as they begin to enjoy a very well deserved rest!
