The challenge
An Airport partner was suffering with unnecessary admin, managing multiple systems for their security pass training. The Airport wanted to migrate over 20,000 users to AIRDAT Passport their security pass training. For the purpose of access control to secure areas, the Airport wanted to simplify the learners journey by grouping assessments required for a specific security pass and report on completion across all of the assessments.

The Solution
AIRDAT collaborated with the Airport and built a new training feature in Passport – Curriculums – grouping several assessments together allowing users to enrol onto a whole learning pathway at once. This avoids the need for multiple bookings and allows airports to track pathway progress as a whole. Permits or certificates were generated for a curriculum and when a curriculum is expiring, the candidate is notified that they need to rebook their training, rather than a reminder for each learning element.
Training curriculums have been added into Passport and include eLearning, in person, webinar, online and competency assessments.

The Result
The Airport partner has reduced 66% of their weekly emails from users who have lost their way on the learning journey. The Airport now has full visibility of all the training required for a security pass grouped by a curriculum and they are now looking to expand curriculums into other areas such as Aerobridge, Airside Driver training and ORAT.
