The Airport Operators Association (AOA) Annual Safety Week runs from 14th – 20th May 2018.

Founded in 1934, the AOA is the national voice of UK airports, a trade association representing the interests of UK airports, and the principal such body engaging with the UK government and regulatory authorities on airport matters.

The safety week is a national event developed and coordinated by the AOA with a determined and deliberate focus to promote safety improvement and development through experience and learning.

From Monday 14th May – Friday 18th May 2018, members of the AIRDAT team will be based at Gatwick and on hand to answer questions about safety, compliance and the services we provide in support of maintaining a safe airport environment.

AIRDAT along with Keith Burridge, and Jerry Barkley from GALs compliance team, the GAL surface transport, Airfield Operations, and the Airport Fire Service will be hosting events throughout the week. Free food and refreshments will be available at the airside bus which will be situated at Pier 3 and 4. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to pop along at any time.
