Are you ready for your next audit? An impending audit can be unnerving. But aviation audits are a necessary evil to ensuring a safe aerodrome. Of course, no one wants a CAA audit non-compliance notice! So, preparation is key.

One of the best ways to prepare for a CAA audit is to conduct your own internal aviation audits. As part of the continuous improvement cycle, aviation audits are an essential instrument to identifying issues and discovering potential improvements. An aviation audit may seem like a daunting task. CAA Auditors have to possess knowledge on auditing techniques and have appropriate aviation audit training.

To help you be as prepared as you can be for your next audit, AIRDAT, in conjunction with Airsight, are hosting a 2-day Auditing in Aviation Course recognised worldwide by Civil Aviation Authorities

Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th of April 2022

The 2-day Aviation Audit Training focuses on the principles of auditing, audit procedures and techniques. You will be given an in-depth view into the whole audit process – beginning from planning through conduction up to analysis. Alternative aviation audit procedures will also be presented and discussed.

“I have worked and trained airside all my working life. I live and breath aviation compliance. Aviation audit training gives me a deeper insight into compliance at airports and help make the airport a safer place for everyone,” Chris Harvey, Training & Compliance Director, AIRDAT

The Aviation Audit Training refers to the basic principles of the guideline for auditing management systems (ISO 19011). You will be taken through theoretical knowledge and a practical starting point enabling you to enhance your aviation audit skills.

The aviation audit training is a fundamental foundation for those who want to conduct internal or external audits (e.g. as part of an oversight programme) or who want to prepare for an upcoming CAA audit.

During the aviation audit training, you will practice what you have learnt in group exercises and be given all the tools you need to improve compliance and safety at your own airport. Or your next job!
