Airside Training. Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted – in fact at any airport in the UK, the term ‘Airside Training’ can encompass a multitude of meanings. Being trained to operate airside is actually quite a bespoke task for each individual dependant on what their role will be whilst there.
Sure, every member of staff should receive mandatory Airside Training such as GSAT (General Security Awareness Training) as well as an Airside Induction course (something AirDAT can help provide) – but there are a huge number of other courses and qualifications available associated with specific tasks when operating airside.
