AirDAT provides free IT training for local school
AirDAT Director, Charles Cardwell has extended his offer of free IT training to a local school for a further year. Charles began this voluntary work at Whitstable Endowed Primary school back in September 2008, running a 1h 15min class during the schools 'enrichment' time on Friday afternoons.
Upon agreeing, Charles stated 'I am extremely happy to continue giving my time to the school, it is a highly rewarding task for me, and I hope that it provides the children with the opportunity to practice their existing skills and learn some new ones along the way too!'
Teacher Mark Hadlow, Head of IT for Whitstable added 'I know that Charles' time is valuable, which makes it all the more commendable that he can spare this time to benefit the children here at Whitstable. It's great to see someone putting something back into the community, and the children thoroughly enjoy the sessions he provides'
