Gatwick’s Airside Safety Group release latest poster Campaign

Gatwicks Airside Safety Group (a community of companies that strive for a safer working environment airside Chaired by Jerry Barkley, Gatwicks Airfield Compliance Manager) today released a series of safety awareness posters that will be distributed around the airport in a bid to bring awareness to some of the safety related issues experienced airside.

There are three posters, each focussing on a different element of airside safety;

Stand Safety

Equipment Safety

Foreign Object Debris

They all bring an important message home and highlight the fact that we all need to work together to ensure the airside environment remains a safe and secure one, for all that access it.

At the bottom of this page, are PDF versions of the posters, so if you are a company that works airside at Gatwick, please feel free to download, print and post them around your offices – and if it helps prevent just one incident, it will be worth it!

The posters also contain the logos of the companies supporting the ASG, to which Jerry Barkley stated ‘this is great start to this charter approach and I would welcome and encourage other airside operators to forward their logo's so they can be included in all future ASG safety and environmental communications.
