The Process
The actual AOL application process is fairly straight forward, but there is quite a significant amount of information that needs to be submitted. AirDAT are here to help take that information and advise you as to whether it is to the standard required for the airport.
The whole process is automated by our online system, letting you submit your information and easily track and understand where you are in the process at all times.
The application is split into various milestones;
- Operation
- Proof of contracts
- Proof of insurance
- Safety & Environment
- Policies
- Risk Assessment
Once the information for those has been processed (please register on our AIRSIDE OPERATOR LICENCE site by clicking here for further details) and payment received, you will be presented with the AOL contract for signature. Currently valid for 2yrs, it will allow you to collect Airside Vehicle Permits within an agreed quota whilst all of the milestones of your application remain valid.
